We are proud of our ongoing role within the project team at Leatherhead Golf Club, Surrey, where we have successfully guided major leisure and hospitality enhancements through the planning system. Most recently, we prepared and submitted a comprehensive major planning application for transformative improvements to both the golf course and its clubhouse facilities.
On the course, the scheme delivers extensive regrading work, the creation of new water bodies, and overhauled drainage systems to ensure year-round playability, alongside a state-of-the-art replacement driving range. The clubhouse transformation is equally ambitious, replacing the existing building with a modern, multi-functional hub. This enhanced facility will feature a new 40-bed hotel, premium spa and conferencing suites, alongside an upgraded clubhouse and pro-shop.
Navigating development within the Metropolitan Green Belt requires a highly strategic approach. Despite these strict policy constraints, we successfully secured a positive pre-application response from the local planning authority. This exceptional outcome stands as a testament to the robust economic, environmental, and recreational credentials we established for the scheme.
