High Street, Oxshott
We have played a pivotal role in revitalising the heart of Oxshott, Surrey. Working as a key member of the project team over several years, we have successfully secured planning permissions to transform multiple prominent sites across the High Street.
Our work focused on three strategic locations: 1 & 2 High Street, 49 & 50 High Street, and Heath Buildings. Historically, these sites contained tired, outdated structures with sub-standard retail and residential layouts unfit for modern requirements. To resolve this, we worked closely with the Council officers to navigate the planning process to secure approvals for 20 high-quality apartments and 8 modern commercial and retail units.
This coordinated multi-site regeneration directly addresses the village's future needs. By replacing obsolete built form with premium, sustainable architecture, the project injects new life into the local economy and provides much-needed modern housing. Our planning strategy successfully demonstrated how sensitive design can uplift a village centre, creating an attractive, thriving destination for residents and businesses alike.
Construction work is now actively underway across these sites, turning this collective vision for a renewed Oxshott into a reality.
Oxshott village is a wonderful community, but had been let down by its poor quality and tired residential and commercial offering in the village centre. These projects will regenerate the village, providing residents and visitors with an exceptional and modern commercial and community minded offer.
