Norton
We have secured outline planning permission for a major residential development of 35 dwellings at the village of Norton, on behalf of Powells Land & Surveyors. The application required careful coordination of technical inputs and consideration of policy requirements, access strategy, and site integration within the wider area.
Whilst this site was technically capable of delivering more than the 35 homes provided, great care was required to ensure that the quantum of development sought was commensurate with the size of the existing village and the local services and facilities available.
Following iterative discussions and refinement of the proposals through the planning process, outline permission was achieved for the development, providing a clear framework for future detailed reserved matters submissions and delivery of the scheme.
It is noted that this site is likely to be built out by another of our existing clients, which is particularly pleasing to see.
Another great result for Zesta with the delivery of this 35 unit scheme at Norton. The village benfits from a good level of local services and facilities, with excellent access on the A38 between Tewkesbury and Gloucester” This development involved a particularly complex negotiation with the Highways Authority over the site access arrangements on to the A38, but ultimately the scheme will provide for a high quality development.
