Zesta Planning were appointed to work on a 40 hectare site for the demolition and replacement of a number of existing buildings on site. Our planning strategy centred around early public engagement and working with key consultants to overcome the site’s constraints and deliver benefits by way of improved visual enhancement, good quality built form, improved energy efficiency and biodiversity net gain.

Zesta worked closely with the project team, providing expert advice and liaising with planning officers and other statutory consultees as and when required. Planning permission was granted within 6 months of submission and we are pleased to continue working closely with our clients to discharge pre-commencement conditions.

We were pleased to gain permission for such a large site in Gloucestershire. On a site of this scale, public engagement was a key element of our strategy. We gained support of local residents and we’re really looking forward to this being built out.
