Project

Copcut Rise

Commercial Development

Zesta Planning are thrilled to submit a full planning application to Wychavon District Council for a mixed-use employment and retail development at Copcut Rise in Droitwich Spa on behalf of Hinton Group UK.

Working closely with both Hinton Group UK and William Davis Homes, the development will deliver a new modern Sainsbury’s local store allowing local people access to everyday essentials for cooking at home and for food on the go, without having to travel further afield.

A drive-thru Costa Coffee will also complement the scheme by offering coffee on the go as well as café seating for businesses and residents.

Excitingly, the development will offer an electric vehicle charging station providing several ultra-rapid charging points for electric vehicles. The hub will be delivered by Motor Fuel Group (MFG), the largest independent forecourt operator in the UK.

The development will also deliver over 5,000 sq.m of much needed employment floorspace.

A comprehensive landscaping scheme with mixed species provision will provide habitat enhancement across the site.

Overall, the proposed development will deliver economic benefits through both the construction and operational phase. Over the long-term, the development will provide up to 235 jobs, supporting up to £6.1million in wages annually to the Droitwich Spa economy.
