Hugo Purcell

Assistant Planner

Hugo has been an Urban Planning Student at the University of Gloucestershire since 2023 and will complete his degree in the summer of 2026. After spending his second year gaining experience through placements with various charities and Local Planning Authorities in both rural and rapidly developing areas, his focus on inclusive consultation processes developed into a passion for the planning process as a whole.

During the summer of 2025 Hugo started work experience at Zesta, which allowed him to get an insight into the private sector. Hugo is now working as an Assistant Planner supporting the Senior and Principal Planners in tracking and submitting live applications.
